Orgullo Kan Bicol (OKB) Trade Fair

The term OKB stands for “Orgullo kan Bicol,” or the pride of Bicol.

Throughout the years, a great many Bicolano micro, small, and medium-sized businesses have participated in the Orgullo kan Bikol-Regional Trade Fair annually held at the SM Megamall or Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.

Dubbed as the longest-running DTI instigated regional trade fair, currently 25 years after it first began, this is projected to bring a thousand customers of diverse persuasions — institutional and individual buyers, exporters, distributors, and the merely interested.

This event, which is hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry in collaboration with the OKB Association, Inc. and the Shangri-La Plaza Corporation (SLPC), provides local business owners in Bicol with a chance to advertise their goods and strengthen their network connections. Many of Bicol’s tourist destinations, fresh ecotourism ventures, varied natural features, and festivals are highlighted by OKB and are perfect for weekends away or family outings.

The fair typically includes handcrafted clothing, household goods, and Bicol specialties such as food, tea. RCB Crafts & Designs has been faithfully participating in this endeavor for many years already, showcasing its products such as placemats, bags, and baskets made from locally-sourced abaca, raffia and seagrass. Through this fair, RCB Crafts has been able to garner a great deal of clients both nationally and internationally, utilizing the company’s services up to this day.
